I have 16 years’ experience working in early years. I enjoy childcare because I feel that every day is different and I like to see the children develop and grow. I did temporary work at Turville between September and December 2016. I then went on Maternity leave but stayed in contact with the nursery as I really enjoyed my time there. I have now been lucky to return as a permanent member of staff. Turville is such a happy and homely setting and I am very happy to be a part of the team.
Hi I am Lydia and I am 16 years old. I have recently finished my studies at Great Marlow School and I am looking forward to working as an apprentice as Turville. I have wanted to work in childcare for a long time and I am really looking forward to embracing the whole experience.
I have been in childcare for almost 12 years now. I have completed lots of different qualifications over the years including Forest School Leadership and Special Needs. I enjoy looking after my all of my pets- there’s a few (2 dogs, 8 cats, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, doves and 5 snakes!).
My journey in childcare started 16 years ago when I started my level 3 diploma in childcare with dreams of one day becoming a teacher. Nurseries, Nanning and setting my own pre-school, Oh and 4 children later I’ve still yet to achieve that dream but I’ve certainly kept busy.
I enjoy creative and using lots of resources in different ways…I’ll be that annoying member of staff in the room that covers the lego brinks in paint or even worse use it in playdough! Never the less I love building characters and helping children grow.
Hi my name is Elizabeth and I work in the Robins room. I started here at Turville in July 2017 and I am looking forward to starting to work towards my Level 3 in childcare. My daughter and two nephews attend the nursery and I love being able to see them in a different environment.
I am Megan and I work in the Robins room. I started here at Turville in November 2016. I am loving being part of and working with such a strong and welcoming team. I am currently level 2 qualified and am looking forward to starting my level 3.
Hi! I have worked in the village since 2015 while my son attended Turville Nursery. As I got to know the lovely staff at the nursery, I ended up working here in the kitchen from July 2017. It has been such a nice privilege to work and watch my son bloom within the nursery for a couple of months before he started primary school in September. I hold a diploma in public services after planning to join the police force but because of a health condition, I wasn’t able to do so. I totally love working here with the children and the staff aren’t so bad either! Of course, I also love coming to work in such a beautiful small village surrounded by countryside and spectacular scenery.
